No live data, and not an official status source
We do not collect outage reports, and we do not show live outage data. Our pages explain how to check outages and fix common problems. Only the company that runs a service can confirm an outage, its cause, or when it will be fixed. Always check the service's official status page or support team, and use Downdetector for live user reports.
General information, not professional advice
Our guides are general information for a wide audience. They are not technical, financial, legal, or security advice for your situation. For problems with a bank account, a payment, a hacked account, or a device, contact the company directly using its official app, website, or the phone number on your card or bill. Never share passwords or security codes with anyone who contacts you, including people who claim to be support during an outage.
Emergencies
This site is not an emergency service. If a phone outage stops you from calling for help, try another phone, a landline, or Wi-Fi calling, and contact your local emergency number by any means you can.
Accuracy
We work to keep every guide accurate, and each page shows when it was last updated. But apps, menus, error codes, and status pages change often, and details can go out of date. Facts about past outages come from public sources, such as the companies involved, regulators like the FCC, and news reports. If you find an error, please tell us and we will fix it.
The website down checker
Our checker tests whether a site answers your own browser, from your own connection. A result can be affected by your network, browser extensions, and the site's settings. It does not show whether a site works for anyone else, and it is not proof of an outage.
Links to other websites
We link to Downdetector, official status pages, help centers, and other sites for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
No paid placements
No company pays us to be listed, ranked, or covered on this site. We do not currently earn money from ads or affiliate links. If that ever changes, we will say so clearly on the pages involved and update this disclaimer.
Limitation of liability
You use this site and its information at your own risk. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from relying on it. See our terms of use for the full terms, and our privacy policy for how we handle information.
